I am hoping that someone can answer a question for me. I have a Tajima single head, that was sewing great, then all needles started unthreading at the same time. It is as though they are under to much pressure. I can't figure out the problem and adjusting the upper tensions has done nothing. I have cleaned everything I can think of and nothing is helping. I am hoping this is an easy fix and I don't have to call a tech to come out.
Looks like the picker is not adjusted properly, usually hit when removing hoops.
Picker is in front of the hook, moves in and out when you trim, silver L
shaped metal
If not adjusted properly it will cause the machine to have a very short tail
so the next time the thread is used it will pull up off the needle.
To adjust you have to make sure it is centered and it goes all the way into the bobbin without touching it
I believe there are videos on you tube.

Thank you so much for the wonderful tip. This was the problem. Now that I took your advice and adjusted the picker, it sews pretty good, now have to readjust all of the thread tensions that I made when trying to figure this out.
This group is the best, I can not tell you how many times I have relied on it for many different items.
